Linsey knows what is takes to become a successful, in-demand speaker.

Across the most popular lifestyle, technology, marketing and healthcare events around the world, Linsey knows what it takes and it may not start where you think. Securing industry recognition takes on many roles. Roles Linsey enjoys best include advising teams on awards and speaking opportunities to pursue, speaker training, editing submissions, monitoring and nurturing submissions, representing clients at events and supporting speaker logistics both on-site and virtually.

Gaining Stage Presence

There is a formula the most successful speakers use depending on the type of talk they are giving, audience and time of year. From attending my first SXSW event supporting a Record Label in 2001 to SXSW in 2020 to strategically support reframing GitLab’s presence, I’ve always been fascinated with production and in the process collected a broad range of interactive event experiences across launches, user conferences and industry awards at events for SXSW, Web Summit, Collision, ViVE, HLTH, End Well Symposium and others.

I’ve also advised executives, personalities and speakers on compelling, audience-gaining, talking points with soundbites, developed session titles and experience what it takes to secure a speaking slot for clients at some of the biggest crowd-pleasers today.

Building on Moments

Filling a role never created before, working with lawyers, the co-founder and CEO on their speaking agreement as well as negotiated the greatest speaker fees, riders, other backstage specifics eventually growing the founder’s visibility into a national tour including leveraging Academy-award winning films on the end of life care crisis into thriving community events.

This also included getting to support a team on securing Meghan McCain for the End Well Symposium to working with the founder on the speaker agreement, negotiated speaker fees and securing social media support with End Well’s new framework I created for working with speakers inspired by the earned media pipeline I built using a combination of strategic tactics to increase End Well’s visibility, alignment and social media presence.
